Our story began in 2001, when KÉSZ Group, capitalising on the economic upswing and the growing appetite for investment in Romania, opened its first foreign branch office in Cluj-Napoca, the country’s second-largest city.
This decision proved extremely beneficial, as the rapidly developing city attracted large numbers of young students and became an important economic hub, significantly contributing to KÉSZ Romania's growth.
The development of the company is closely intertwined with the growth of its dedicated team. In the early years, the Romanian company worked mainly in cooperation with the Group’s steel structure plant in Kecskemét, KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft., focusing on the design, on-site installation, and sale of steel hall structures.
As investment trends evolved, the Romanian team also undertook increasingly complex projects. Driven by competitiveness, we have continually sought new development opportunities, new markets and challenging, tailor-made solutions.
As a result, today we deliver one of the widest ranges of building types, as demonstrated by our numerous references in industrial, commercial and other developments, from state-of-the-art office buildings, commercial and logistics centres, public buildings, to factories, agricultural facilities, healthcare buildings and, not least, tourist and wellness centres.
