Éva Bardócz, Huba Gábriel Deák, Norbert Gőrőg, Helga Ioan‑Tóth, Attila‑Roland Kovács and Gergő‑Róbert Szabó have successfully obtained the openBIM Professional Certification – Foundation level, issued by buildingSMART International.

The 2024 HEXAGON Award was granted to Réka Saszet in recognition of her many years of outstanding professional performance, dedication and active contribution to the success of KÉSZ Romania. Her exemplary professional attitude, precision and mentoring role serve as an inspiration for younger colleagues as well.

KÉSZ Group is committed to providing the safest and healthiest possible working environment for its employees and partners. In this spirit, KÉSZ Romania’s first local development, the Hexagon Offices building in Cluj‑Napoca, was awarded the prestigious WELL Health‑Safety certification in March 2024.
 

In 2024, KÉSZ Romania ranked 26th in the “Top 100 General Contractors” list compiled by IBC Focus. 

It is a great honour for KÉSZ Romania that the restoration of the St Michael’s Church in Cluj‑Napoca has been recognised with the prestigious European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards 2024, in the “Conservation and Adaptive Reuse” category, supported by the European Union.
 

Norbert Gőrőg, head of KÉSZ Romania’s design engineering team, has successfully completed the Project Management Fundamentals course recognised by PMI (Project Management Institute), earning 21 Professional Development Units (PDUs).
 

KÉSZ Romania ranked 31st in the 2023 “Top 100 General Contractors in Construction” list. The ranking compiled by IBC Focus assesses the leading players in the sector. KÉSZ Romania’s position is a recognition of dedicated work and continuous development.

Under the leadership of KÉSZ Romania, the comprehensive restoration of the Reformed Church of Dej was completed and received recognition at the 15th National Architecture Biennale. The project was awarded a shared 1st Prize in the “Restoration” section, highlighting the exemplary combination of heritage conservation and the use of modern restoration techniques.

For the design of the steel structure of the Saint‑Gobain Turda Mill, the design engineers of KÉSZ Romania achieved third place at the prestigious Steel Lion Awards 2023 competition. The project team included: Attila Feleki, Ádám Kis, Tünde András, Noémi Egyed, Tímea Bíró, and Gergő Szabó. The award acknowledges the structural complexity, engineering precision, and innovative solutions of the project.

KÉSZ received recognition for its participation and support at the 32nd conference “Building Mechanical Systems and Environmental Comfort – Past, Present and Future”. The event was organised by the Timișoara branch of the Romanian Association of Building Services Engineers (AIIR) and the Technical University of Timișoara.

Each year, KÉSZ Group presents the HEXAGON Award to colleagues whose exemplary work strengthens teamwork and shared values. 

In 2022, Hilti Romania honoured KÉSZ Electric with its Loyalty Award for a successful, long‑term cooperation. The certificate was presented in January 2023 as a recognition of the strong partnership and joint development.

Norbert Gőrőg, an employee of KÉSZ Romania, has successfully completed the geotechnical engineering training course organised by the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest (UTCB). 

The Banca Transilvania headquarters building in Cluj‑Napoca, constructed by KÉSZ Romania, received a special award in the buildings category and obtained the BREEAM New Construction “Outstanding” rating – the highest level of sustainability certification available.
 

As an official Siemens partner, the KÉSZ Electric team delivered outstanding professional performance in 2022 in the integration of electrical systems. 

In 2022, KÉSZ Romania ranked 14th in the “Top 100 General Contractors in Construction” list issued annually by IBC Focus. This recognition confirms the company’s leading role in the Romanian construction sector and validates the professional quality demonstrated in its projects.

The F1 reception building project, realised as part of the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre, was recognised at the international Tekla BIM Awards competition.
 

KÉSZ Romania is proud to announce that it has been selected among the laureates of the prestigious FIB Awards for Outstanding Concrete Structures 2022.
 

In 2022, KÉSZ Electric ranked second in Cluj County in the small‑enterprise category for electrical installation works.
 

The slide structure designed within the 2021 Tiszaligeti Revitalisation project, developed with the involvement of the KÉSZ Romania team – Ádám Kis, Attila Feleki and Ioana Secheli – was honoured with the Steel Lion Pangolin special award.

KÉSZ Romania’s tendering team received a certificate of appreciation from Atria Urban Resort for its dedicated work and the high level of professional preparedness demonstrated in the bid package submitted for the project.

Helga Iozan‑Tóth has successfully completed the specialised training course “Fire Protection of Buildings”, organised jointly by AICPS (the Romanian Association of Structural Design Engineers) and the Technical University of Cluj‑Napoca.
 

In 2021, KÉSZ Romania ranked 22nd in the “Top 100 General Contractors in Construction” list compiled by IBC Focus. This result reflects the company’s sustained efforts and professional commitment, making it a key player in the Romanian construction sector year after year.

The Dacia One project received the award for “Excellence in management, quality and complexity of the built space” at the Bucharest Architecture Annual 2021 event. KÉSZ Constructii Romania participated in the project as general contractor.
The professional jury particularly praised the quality of collaboration and the outstanding design and construction details of the building.

As part of the revitalisation programme of the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre, the F1 reception building received international recognition at the Construsoft BIM Awards 2021 competition in the Public Projects category.
Several members of KÉSZ Group contributed to the implementation of the project: KÉSZ Építő Zrt. as general contractor, and KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft. together with KÉSZ Metaltech Kft. carrying out the fabrication and special installation of the steel structures.

This recognition further strengthens the company’s position in the Romanian construction sector and is a well‑deserved acknowledgement of the team’s dedication, expertise and quality work.

According to its official energy performance certificate, the Hexagon Offices office building in Cluj‑Napoca, constructed by KÉSZ Romania, has achieved the highest “A” rating. The document confirms its outstanding energy efficiency and low carbon‑dioxide emissions, in line with the project’s sustainability‑driven approach.

The Hexagon Offices building in Cluj-Napoca has obtained a BREEAM International Refurbishment and Fit-Out certification with an “Excellent” rating.
The assessment confirms that the project meets high sustainability standards, uses environmentally friendly materials and technologies and places strong emphasis on construction quality.
The result demonstrates KÉSZ Group’s commitment to responsible building and to creating modern, energy-efficient workspaces.
 

KÉSZ Romania achieved first place in the Romanian Business Rankings in 2020, in the real estate development category in Cluj County. The “Top for Romania” distinction recognizes the company’s contribution to the local economy as well as its outstanding performance in the business sector.

This professional recognition strengthens the company’s significant role in Romania’s construction sector and reflects the dedicated work of the team, continuous development, and the high quality of the executed projects.

IBC Focus officially acknowledged the performance of KÉSZ Romania through a formal notification, confirming the company’s inclusion in 2019 among the Top 100 strongest construction companies in Romania. The independent ranking was prepared by an organization specializing in construction market analysis, and this positioning further strengthened KÉSZ Romania’s status as a key player in the market.

Helga Iozan-Tóth, Chief Design Engineer at KÉSZ Romania, has successfully completed the first part of the advanced JCSS course, which focuses on engineering risk analysis and probabilistic modeling. The knowledge acquired contributes to safer, more robust design solutions and to more effective risk management.
