The Ambassador of Japan visited the construction site of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute.
The management of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca – Rector Prof. Dr. Eng. Vasile Țopa and Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Eng. Adrian Groza – welcomed His Excellency Katae Takashi, Ambassador of Japan, Mimata Hiromu, Cultural Secretary, as well as Maria Metz, CEO of NTT DATA Romania, at the construction site of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, whose general contractor is KÉSZ Romania.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen academic and cultural relations, as well as to provide an overview of this strategically important development, which opens new horizons for artificial intelligence research in Romania. The delegation particularly appreciated the architectural concept, which combines the preservation of the values of the historic building with the creation of modern research spaces.
The progress of the project represents an important milestone in the expansion of the international cooperation of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, and for KÉSZ Romania it is an honor to deliver an objective that also plays an essential role in strengthening Romanian–Japanese scientific relations.
