Cuprumin Romania

The electrical installation team of KÉSZ Romania, KÉSZ Electric, carried out electrical execution works at the Cuprumin facility in Abrud, a copper ore mining and processing operation in Romania. Our scope of work included the control of two mills, each with a capacity of 4 MW, using medium-voltage frequency converters, as well as the installation of the electrical network for approximately 4.2 kilometers of conveyor belts.

In addition, we carried out the electrical connections for the copper ore filtration system supplied by METSO, as well as the modernization (retrofit) of the PT4 medium- and low-voltage substation. Through our work, we contributed to ensuring a reliable and safe power supply for the site.
