Hirschmann I.-II.
KÉSZ Romania took part, as general contractor, in the expansion of Hirschmann Automotive TM S.R.L.’s plant in Sânpaul, Mureș County. The project aimed to increase production capacity and optimise manufacturing processes.
The extension included the construction of a new production hall and the associated infrastructure. The building is founded on isolated monolithic reinforced‑concrete footings, with a primary structure of precast reinforced‑concrete elements and secondary steel members. The lower part of the façade is clad with three‑layer skirting panels, the upper part with sandwich panels, while the roof is covered with high‑profile trapezoidal steel sheeting. The facility is dedicated to the production of automotive components.
In the first phase (2021–2022), a production hall and ancillary units totalling approximately 12,500 m² were built;
The second phase (2022–2023) was added 3,000 m², following the same technical solutions as the initial stage.
The electrical works package included a 1,600 kVA transformer station, a 1,400 kVA generator set, distribution boards, interior lighting installations, a fire detection and alarm system, a CCTV system, as well as access control installations. The hall is equipped with a heating system using heat pumps and state-of-the-art air handling units.
